SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

The fourth Viewfinder Film Festival will be taking place between 7-10th April 2008 at Cheltenham’s Cineworld and is a week celebrating great cinema, with screenings and talks and events taking place at a range of venues throughout the South West.

 

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  • The Festival invites submissions of films which fall into any of the following areas:
      • the film is made by a student, amateur or professional filmmaker who currently lives in the South West Region
      • the film is either produced or shot within the South West
      • The film fits one of the festival screenings (drama/fiction, animation, documentary,  experimental film and music videos)
  • Submitted work must fall into one of the following submission categories:
    • ages 7-14
    • ages 15-18
    • ages 18 and over and in education
    • non-professional
    • professional

     

    3. Submission Requirements:

    a)     submissions must be complete films and can be up to 15 minutes in length. Submissions submitted that are longer than 15 minutes will not be considered.

    b)     work must be submitted in the following formats:

    • dvd (work submitted contained in dvd must be in AVI or QuickTime file formats)
    • dv (digital video)

    c)      licenses must be obtained prior to submission for all copyrighted material used in work

    d)     work that includes images of children under 18 must be prepared to submit parental consent forms if selected for screening
